We gather: (1) user account details for authentication and promotional purposes, (2) commercial information such as subscription data, (3) payment information such as credit or debit card information, (4) usage data of the checklist and journal entry features of the app, and (5) anonymized usage statistics to enhance app functionality and user experience.

We gather device information such as model and OS version for optimal performance.

We retain this information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal or operational requirements.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary to provide and improve the Maxed Martial Arts experience, fulfill legal or operational requirements, or as otherwise described below:

User account details are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, these details are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Commercial and subscription information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 7 years afterward when required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance.
Payment information is processed securely by our payment partners and is not stored on Maxed Martial Arts servers. Retention of payment data follows the policies of those third‑party processors.
Checklist and journal entry data is retained until you delete it or delete your account. When your account is deleted, this data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely, as they cannot be used to identify you.
Device information is retained for as long as necessary to support app functionality and performance optimization.

If you delete your account, all personal data associated with your account is removed or anonymized within the timeframes listed above.

How Information is Used

(1) User account details are collected for authentication purposes and to communicate with you to inform you of new content or offerings. (2) Commercial information is used to manage your subscription appropriately and may be shared with third parties that work with us in managing those subscriptions. (3) Payment information is used to process payment or financial transactions, including to facilitate new subscriptions or process refunds. (4) Checklist and journal entry data is collected to enhance your training experience and the experience of your training partner. (5) Usage statistics are anonymized and utilized for ongoing improvements and feature enhancements.

Device information aids in tailoring the app for optimal performance.

Security Measures and User Rights

We prioritize the security of your data by employing industry-standard measures, including encryption and secure transmission protocols to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access.

You may request deletion of your data at any time, and we will remove or anonymize your personal information within the retention periods described in this Policy.

As a user, you can uncheck checklist items, delete individual journal entries or delete your account and the related data. You also have the right to request access to your personal data, rectify any inaccuracies, or request the deletion of your information. Other important matters

Maxed Martial Arts provides self-driven training in martial arts, which may not be suitable for children under the age of 13.

Our app is subscription based, and it does not include advertisements.

Data is protected at the account level, and access to your account is obtained through the login page, using your email address and password.

Our commitment to transparency includes keeping you informed about any changes to this policy. Users will be notified of updates via email or app notifications, ensuring you stay informed about how your data is handled.
